FASHION SHOW 2016
Dar El Nimer
CSB presented the work of its first graduating class in a landmark fashion show, followed by a two-day exhibition open to the public. Despite torrential rain, around 400 people attended the event at Dar El Nimer, produced by George Rouhana and the CSB team. The evening began with a reception, followed by introductions from Sarah Hermez and Caroline Simonelli, co-founder of CSB, who flew in from New York. Set to music by Sary Moussa, the collections of Heba Nahle, Aline Seukunian, Fatima Nourelddine, and Roni Helou showcased 8–13 original looks each, marking the culmination of three years of free alternative fashion education. After the runway, a static exhibition and silent auction allowed attendees to view and purchase pieces, with 100% of proceeds reinvested in the school.
The event was catered by Jai, with wine from Domaine des Tourelles.
