Fundraising Efforts
If you're unable to donate directly, you can still support us by organizing your own fundraising drive. If this interests you, or you have other ideas or ways to help, please contact Sarah Hermez at sarah@creativespacebeirut.com.
For your reference, these are Creative Space Beirut's essential costs to keep running for one year.
Transport and Housing: USD 63,000
Your support ensures our students can commute daily, even from distant areas like Bekaa and Tripoli. We also cover housing for students without stable homes, the number of which has increased in the escalating war.
Rent and Utilities: USD 75,000
We need a safe, well-equipped space for our students to learn and create. Being able to stay in our space as rents rise exponentially is crucial.
School Administration: USD 170,000
Supports salaries for staff responsible for managing communications, finance, operations, fundraising, and the overall needs of students and staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of educational activities.
Instructors and Experts: USD 80,000
We need your support to keep our teachers and mentors guiding the next generation.
Student Supplies: USD 25,500
Each student receives a toolkit with essential materials (sketching tools, scissors, measuring tapes). This kit supports their studies for three years, ensuring they are fully equipped.
Equipment: USD 5,000
From sewing machines to fabric cutters, our equipment is crucial for practical learning. Donations help maintain and replace vital tools for the students' education.
