Upon graduation, Aline taught in the Architecture and Design department at the Lebanese American University (LAU) for three years. She is currently an instructor at Creative Space Beirut, where she teaches Construction and Thesis Collection courses, and often leads production projects. A skilled pattern maker, Aline also works as a freelance pattern maker and remains an integral part of the Creative Space Beirut community.Upon graduation, Aline built a multifaceted career spanning fashion education, production management, and pattern making. She taught sewing and garment construction at the Lebanese American University (LAU) for several years and currently serves as an instructor at Creative Space Beirut, where she teaches Construction and Thesis Collection courses. Over the years, she has trained students and emerging designers through numerous sewing and pattern-making workshops, becoming a key figure in fashion education in Lebanon.
Alongside teaching, Aline has played a central role in a number of large-scale production projects, serving as Production Manager for initiatives including the Creative Space Beirut collaborations with UNICEF and PwC. She also spent several years managing the CSB label social enterprise, overseeing design, pattern making, and production while contributing to the development of collections and special projects.
A highly skilled pattern maker, Aline has worked freelance with brands including Dana Riad, BE-INDIE, Sizpico, Salim Azzam, and Ahmed Amer, bringing extensive expertise in pattern drafting, draping, technical drawing, textile experimentation, and garment construction. Her work spans pattern making, production management, and design development, including overseeing production for the Carmen opera costumes, leading the design and production of the Sorbé pouch collaboration, and developing patterns for collections by Ahmed Amer’s brand, Amer. Combined with her experience in education and mentorship, this broad technical knowledge continues to make her an integral member of the Creative Space Beirut community and a valued contributor to Lebanon’s fashion industry.
