Arab Salim, Lebanon
March, 1994
Upon graduation, Fatima joined the renowned Lebanese brand Sarah’s Bag, where she worked in quality control for three years. In this role, she oversaw production standards, monitored product quality, contributed to design development, and supported operational processes, gaining valuable experience in both craftsmanship and manufacturing.
Building on this foundation, she launched Fatima’s Handmade, an independent accessories brand specializing in handcrafted and embroidered bags, hats, and decorative accessories. Since 2019, she has managed all aspects of the business, from design, fabric selection, pattern making, and embellishment to production and sales. Based in a small atelier in her hometown in southern Lebanon, Fatima works alongside her mother and a small team, creating custom pieces and personalized designs while participating in local exhibitions and markets.
Through her brand, Fatima continues to celebrate traditional handcraft techniques and embroidery, combining artisanal skills with contemporary design to create thoughtful, handmade products.
