Mazraa, Beirut, Lebanon

Class of 2028

Raised in a household of tailors in the Mazraa neighborhood of Beirut, Mohammed’s relationship with design began long before he understood it as a profession. From an early age, he was surrounded by fabric, form, and process, spending his childhood painting, sketching designs, and sculpting, activities that shaped how he sees and understands the world and led him naturally toward creative work. For Mohammed, design is “an expression of emotion and identity,” a space where perception, feeling, and intention meet. His creative process is thoughtful and layered, rooted in research and inspiration that reflect his current state of mind, then translated into ideas, colors, and concepts, and finally refined through careful evaluation. A natural perfectionist, he approaches each outcome with attention, balance, and clarity. After completing his studies in Marketing at the Lebanese University, Mohammed now seeks to deepen his inherited technical foundation in design and expand the skills he already carries, with the aim of growing personally and doing the work he loves on a professional level. Within the CSB community, he hopes to contribute his own perspective and taste, adding value through collaboration, dialogue, and a steady commitment to thoughtful creation.
