April 1, 2003
Class of 2028
Hailing from Nabatieh, Al Hassan grew up rooted in the steadfast soil of southern Lebanon. “Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity… and that had a big impact on me.” Even as a child, he knew he wanted to be a designer, first imagining spaces, then shifting toward game design, eventually graduating in Graphic Design from the Lebanese University, after which his interest in fashion, particularly streetwear, became evident. Unable to pursue fashion due to financial constraints, he nonetheless began sketching, researching, determined to approach design not only as an idea but as “a product and a career.” Through this process, he came to understand how deeply design shapes his thinking and expression: “Design isn’t just something I do; it’s how I think and express myself.” Al Hassan’s creative process is rooted in imagination, research, feedback, and refinement, a cycle of observation, dialogue, and continuous adjustment. For him, joining CSB represents the opportunity to gain technical knowledge and understand fashion from sketch to final product. At the same time, he hopes to contribute his own energy and perspective, bringing a streetwear-driven approach that speaks to the Lebanese community and adds to the school’s creative culture.
