Following a series of diverse collaborations post graduation, Ahmed launched his eponymous brand, AMER, in 2018. His clothing and homeware designs celebrate the country’s traditions of craftsmanship, infusing collections with elements of folklore, architecture, and artistry. Known for the artful integration of line drawings with bold, organic apparel design, his multidisciplinary practice - spanning illustration, live performances, branding, and design - seamlessly blends storytelling and design, earning him regional acclaim.

In 2023, Ahmed won the Fashion Trust Arabia award in the Ready-to-Wear category. He currently serves as Creative Director at Inaash, a social enterprise dedicated to preserving and innovating within the heritage of Palestinian embroidery, and was named laureate of the Open My Med 2020/2021 prize by Maison Mode Méditerranée in Marseille, France. In 2025, he participated in Les Correspondances, a program by Maison Mode Méditerranée, where he took part in round table discussions on embroidery and cultural heritage, and led an emotional, spontaneous drawing workshop at Château Borély. That same year, he also took part in the Venice Architecture Biennale.

An avid illustrator, Ahmed engages in live illustration performances and has taught Sketching and Fashion Illustration at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA). At Creative Space Beirut, he continues to teach Fashion Illustration and Fashion as Cultural Expression.
