Kamal Zeineldeen

CLASS OF 2028
Ghaboun, Aley, Lebanon
March, 2007

From the foggy mountains of Aley, Kamal found himself drawn to the world of design through observing and absorbing culture. His work is driven by transformation: taking the ordinary and turning it into something expressive, layered, and intentional. His creative process often begins with a small, unexpected detail that catches his attention, which he then builds into a full concept through sketching and experimentation. He describes this process as “the power of building a piece of art like a puzzle made of small, simple things.” For him, creativity is a language, a way of communicating when words fall short. “Creativity… is about expressing a version of myself I haven’t fully seen yet,” and through making, he finds his own way of connecting with the world, blending old ideas with new ones, and seeing through diverse perspectives. At CSB, he hopes to gain the tools to bring his ideas to life, growing both creatively and technically within a supportive community. In return, he brings an open spirit, energy, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for collaboration, contributing to a space that is welcoming, dynamic, and grounded in shared creation.
