Iftikhar is a fashion designer and textile artist whose work blends storytelling with material experimentation. Her practice explores emotion, memory, and identity through fabric manipulation, pattern drafting, and garment construction. With over five years of experience across fashion, production, and the arts, she combines strong technical skills with a creative, hands-on approach to design.

Since graduating from Creative Space Beirut, Iftikhar has worked across design, production, education, and costume development. She currently collaborates as a freelance costume designer with the Saudi production house Shabab and recently served as Production Manager at the Lebanese ready-to-wear and bridal label Yassmin Saleh. She also works as a sewing instructor with Ruwwad Al Tanmeya, teaching local women sewing techniques ranging from ready-to-wear construction to corsetry.

Previously, she spent nearly three years at the sustainable fashion brand Emergency Room Beirut, where she worked on sample development, pattern cutting, artisan coordination, and quality control. She has also collaborated with brands including Super Yaya and Bazaza and participated in international showcases such as Kilomètre Paris and Creative x Basel.

With a particular interest in sustainability, handwork, and textile experimentation, Iftikhar continues to explore dye techniques, upcycling, and material-driven design while pursuing projects that merge craftsmanship, narrative, and innovation.
