Mostafa Al Sous

Class of 2025
Saida, Lebanon
January, 1998

Mostafa is a fashion designer whose practice merges craft and art, transforming fabrics into cohesive works with distinctive handmade details. His interest in design began in childhood, surrounded by his mother’s crochet, his aunt’s tailoring, and his father’s artistic drawings on glassware. From an early age, creativity became a central part of his identity, shaping the way he views sewing as both technique and expression.

During his time at Creative Space Beirut, Mostafa developed into a versatile designer able to adapt to diverse challenges in the industry. In his last year of enrollment, he founded his brand, which translates personal stories and traumas into garments and artworks that carry deep meaning. His work combines traditional craftsmanship with experimental techniques, engaging with sustainable fashion, textile innovation, and storytelling.

Alongside his design practice, Mostafa leads community projects that address mental health and advocate for diversity, rights, and self-expression. Looking ahead, he plans to establish textile workshops and nontraditional education opportunities for youth, while continuing to present his collections internationally to celebrate diversity and give garments lasting purpose.
