Mostafa Al Sous

Class of 2025
Saida, Lebanon
January, 1998

Mostafa El Sous is a fashion designer whose practice merges craft, storytelling, and textile experimentation. Growing up surrounded by his mother’s crochet work, his aunt’s tailoring, and his father’s artistic practice, he developed an early appreciation for making and creative expression.

During his time at Creative Space Beirut, Mostafa established his brand, ATHR, through which he transforms personal experiences and social themes into garments and artworks. Since 2021, he has developed and presented six ATHR collections, continuously expanding his exploration of craftsmanship, fabric manipulation, and sustainable design practices. His work has also been showcased internationally, including at the Shubbak Festival in London in 2025.

Alongside developing ATHR, Mostafa has worked for two local brands as production manager and designer, and as a freelance designer for Naive by Emné. Beyond fashion, he is actively involved in community initiatives focused on mental health, youth empowerment, and self-expression, including acting as Club Advisor at International College, reflecting his belief in fashion as a tool for dialogue and social change.
