Michel Sabbagh
Khalal - 2022
Inspired by the designer’s personal skin condition, the collection celebrates differences in skin pigmentation and tone. The pieces in the collection praise imperfection through techniques such as burning velvet, layering with transparent fabrics, and fraying to create texture. Cut outs and splattered hand-painting also give the feeling of blotching.
