Jihan Azzam
Class of 2025
Niha, Lebanon
November, 1998
Jihan graduated with a strong focus on research-driven design, conceptual development, and fabric manipulation. She creates garments that merge storytelling with craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from science, nature, and philosophy. Her strength lies in translating abstract ideas into clear visual narratives through mood boards, textile experimentation, and innovative draping, pushing boundaries while maintaining a commitment to wearability and detail.
During her enrollment at Creative Space Beirut, Jihan also gained practical industry experience through a part-time position with the award-winning Lebanese brand Superyaya. This opportunity allowed her to contribute to the development of collections, engage closely with professional design processes, and build an understanding of the demands of the fashion industry. The experience not only strengthened her technical skills but also deepened her interest in working within collaborative and creative environments.
Looking ahead, Jihan hopes to continue building her professional expertise, expand her skills through collaboration and continuous learning, and possibly pursue a master’s degree to refine her vision further. Her long-term goal is to establish her own brand—one that transforms philosophical ideas into meaningful, wearable experiences and positions fashion as a medium for both storytelling and reflection.
