Black Waters
The inspiration for this collection is gathered from the mysterious depths of the oceans. Deep in the inky darkness where only creatures that are particularly endowed by nature can survive, there is a kind of beauty that catches the eye. The non-end- ing aquatic stretches are translated into freely draped maxi dresses. The evasion of the deep waters and the creatures that lurk within are represented within the flowing, lustrous hand-threaded fabric. The deep, heavy color palate simulates the beauty of an ocean's depth, all while utilizing a touch of bright shades, reminiscent of the bio-lumi- nescent creatures that claim the bottom of the ocean as their home.
