AHMED AMER
Fashion Illustration
Ahmed Amer graduated from CSB School of Design in 2017. Following a stint of diverse collaborations, he launched his eponymous brand in 2018, which gained a strong reputation in the industry through its artful integration of his iconoclastic line drawings with bold, yet organic apparel design. Ahmed is an avid illustrator and does live illustration performances. He taught Design Through Sketching and Fashion Illustration at Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and Creative Space Beirut School of Design, where he continues to teach. Ahmed is a winner of the Open My Med 2020/2021 prize by Maison Mode Méditerranée and a member of the Hybrid Wave community.
MISSAK HAJIAVEDIKIAN
Tailoring, Pattern Cutting and Construction
Missak Hajiavedikian launched his career in 2007 after graduating from ESMOD, where he earned several awards. He currently designs for both Lebanese and Middle Eastern celebrities, as well as international entertainers. Since 2010, Missak has been sharing his expertise by teaching Fashion Design at ESMOD, the Lebanese American University, and Creative Space Beirut School of Design. Additionally, he conducts workshops on Design and Creative Pattern Cutting across various locations, including Oman, Palestine, Jordan, and Armenia. He also provides consultation services to emerging brands and established designers, both within Lebanon and beyond.
GUITTA MELKI
Feltmaking and textile design
Guitta Melki has split her time between Lebanon and the USA for over 20 years. With degrees in business, fine arts, ceramics, and fiber arts, she brings a versatile background. Alongside a 12-year career in textile design, she has taught visual arts at various institutions. For the past decade, Guitta has been designing jewelry and other items under The MelkiWay brand. Recently, she launched Heart Works Arts and Crafts Studio. Her fiber, ceramic, and jewelry pieces have been showcased in exhibitions across the US, Lebanon, and Egypt.
ALINE SEUKUNIAN
Sewing
Aline Seukunian graduated from the Creative Space Beirut School of Design in 2016. She is a part-time instructor within the Lebanese American University’s Architecture and Design department and a key member of the Creative Space Beirut community, as a teacher, workshop instructor and mentor. When she isn’t teaching, Aline works part time as a production manager for Roni Helou and a freelance patternmaker, and designs for her eponymous ready-to-wear brand.

Tarek Moukaddem a Beirut-based visual artist renowned for his exceptional fashion photography. A graduate of ALBA with an MFA in Advertising Photography (2010), Tarek's work has spanned diverse projects and exhibitions in over 20 countries.
MAHER BERRO
Digital Fashion
Maher Berro is an experienced specialist in interaction design, user experience, and design with a diverse background. He has been actively engaged in both commercial and academic fields for the past two decades. As a senior lecturer at local and international universities, he teaches subjects like interaction design, user experience, UX/UI, human-centered design, and digital media design.
HAZEM KAIS
Natural Diying
Hazem Kais graduated from Creative Space Beirut in 2017. Hazem became the creative director at Civvies, a sustainable fashion brand based in Lebanon, and The Master Peace, using wool to create garments and homeware. Hazem Kais is now focusing on his own label, GOODKILL - a bold and uncompromising label that produces genderless, free-form and functional design with an experimental edge.
CAROLINE SIMONELLI
Creative Draping
Caroline Simonelli is a Lebanese-American designer with over 50 years of experience in the fashion industry. She has worked in renowned fashion houses in New York, designing volume, plus-size collections, and couture. Caroline has also taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology and currently teaches at Parsons School of Design and Pratt Institute in New York City. She is also a co-founder of Creative Space Beirut in Lebanon
NADER TFAYLI
Branding
Lebanese designer Nader Tfayli is an alumnus of the Lebanese University, holding a BA in Graphic Design. Accumulating over 12 years of experience collaborating with esteemed local and global firms, he has catered to an extensive array of distinguished clients. As the founder and creative director of both Nader Tfayli Studio and Parasite Creative Agency, he leads teams specializing in branding, design, marketing, and motion graphics.
ROSALINE KOZOBOKIAN
Art Direction
Rosaline Kozobokian obtained a B.S. in Liberal Arts and an AAS in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University. She also completed a short Art Direction course at St. Martines, and has 15 years experience in the high-end jewelry industry and seven years in Art Direction. Since 2021, Rosaline has served as an instructor at the Fine Art Photography Academy, teaching Basic and Advanced Art Direction as well as Digital Marketing.
NADINE MNEIMNEH
Construction
Born and bred in Paris, Nadine Mneimneh completed two bachelor’s degrees, in business administration and fashion design, and earned experience in retail management, marketing, styling and pattern-making before starting her label in 2010 in Beirut. She has also worked as a consultant for start-ups and established brands, focusing in particular on creative direction, product development and execution. In 2014, she was a founding faculty member of the newly – opened fashion school at the Lebanese American University, in collaboration with the London School of Fashion and Elie Saab.
MOE RIDA
Makeup for fashion
Moe Rida is a Beirut based makeup artist and hairstylist best known for his work in fashion. His work is seen in editorial shoots to lookbook shoots for publications like Harpers Bazaar Arabia, Sorbet, Jamalouki; and designers like Hussein Bazaza, Tony Ward, Elie Saab, Krikor Jabotian and more.
SARKIS ASSADOURIAN
Pattern Cutting and Drafting
Sarkis Assadourian brings two decades of experience to his role as a pattern making and drafting instructor. Holding a degree in fashion design and pattern drafting from ESMOD, Sarkis has notable achievements under his belt. He spearheaded Elie Saab's earlier Mission Fashion initiative on LBC, and currently holds the position of head designer for Reem Akra's Fashion Star program on Dubai One. His portfolio includes crafting over 50 bespoke bridal and evening gowns. Sarkis has been teaching at CSB-SD since 2018.
MARIA-THALA AL-ASWAD
3D
Maria-Thala Al Aswad, an architect and graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Malaquais (2010), co-founded Les Architectes Workshop in Paris in 2013. With HMONP authorization and a global reach, they shape projects in architecture and urban design across France, Switzerland, and Lebanon. In tandem, Maria-Thala delves into digital research. Noteworthy achievements include her 3D printed corset featured in industry publications and being a finalist in the Reinventing Fashion competition (2020). She also shares her expertise through teaching at Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts ALBA and Creative Space Beirut School of Design.
NOUR DAHER
Space Design
Nour Daher is a fashion and textiles designer and consultant with a B.A in Fashion from the Lebanese American University, a Masters in Fashion & Textiles from the Glasgow School of Art, and extensive industry experience in Beirut, London, New York, and Doha.
PHILLIPE ELRIACHI
Digital Fashion
Philippe El Riachi attended LAU School of Fashion Design after studying Fine Arts in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated in 2019. Trained in painting, sculpture, printmaking, tattooing, & various other 2D & 3D mediums, he pursued digital methods of fabrication during his last two years of Fashion Studies and in his work. In 2019, Phillipe established 5 in Your Eyes, a brand and production house that uses custom digital methods for fashion brands and individuals; including digital fabrication of samples, the digitization of a brands work practices, and physical production of the digitally worked items.
